Rental Terms and Conditions
Gloworks Equipment Rental Policy
By renting equipment from Gloworks, customers agree to the following terms and conditions. No exceptions will be made.
Rental Charges:

Published rental prices are daily rates. A one-day rental is defined as pickup during normal business hours and return by 7:00 PM the following day.

For the first three (3) rentals by a new customer, the full rental fee is payable in advance at the time of reservation.

For subsequent rentals, 50% of the rental fee is payable in advance at the time of pickup.

Equipment not returned on the scheduled return date will result in charges equivalent to the replacement value of the equipment, applied to the payment method on file.

Rental prices are subject to change without prior notice. Please confirm pricing at the store.
Equipment Quantity Limit:

Renters are limited to a maximum of three (3) primary items per rental period. This includes any combination of cameras, lenses, and flashes.

Accessories such as microphones, tripods, and background stands can be added to any rental and are not included in the item limit.

Security deposits will be taken for accessories as well.
ID Requirement:

A valid Indian Driver's License or a valid Aadhar Card is required for equipment rental.

Expired, damaged, or illegible identification documents will not be accepted.

Passport with valid Indian Visa, is also acceptable.
Security Deposits:

A security deposit of ₹25,000 per item is required for all rentals. A higher deposit may be required based on the equipment's value, quantity, and the renter's rental history.

The security deposit can be paid in cash or via UPI.

For high-value rentals, Gloworks may also request a blank signed cheque, for the full replacement value of the rented equipment, as an additional security measure. This cheque will only be used in cases of equipment loss, theft, or damage beyond repair.

The security deposit or the cheque will be returned upon the equipment’s return in the same condition as when rented, subject to Gloworks’ inspection.

The renter is liable for any damage or loss, up to the full replacement value of the equipment.
Legal Considerations:
All rental agreements are subject to the laws of India, with jurisdiction in Bengaluru.
Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved through arbitration or in the courts of Bengaluru.

Late Returns:

If the renter needs to return the equipment after the scheduled return date, they must notify Gloworks by phone or email before the scheduled return time.

Late returns will be charged the full daily rental rate for each additional day the equipment is not returned.

If the equipment is not returned on the scheduled due date, it will be considered misappropriated, and the renter's payment method will be charged the full replacement value.

Gloworks reserves the right to pursue all legal remedies, including civil and criminal actions, to recover the equipment or its replacement value. This may include engaging debt collection agencies, private investigators, and filing police complaints. These remedies are not exclusive.
Reservations:

Reservations are accepted via phone or in person.

Reservations should be made no more than seven (7) days in advance.

Reservations can also be made through our website.
Rental Liability:

The renter assumes full liability for any damaged or lost equipment.

In case of damage, the renter is responsible for the repair costs or the replacement value of the equipment.

All rented equipment remains the property of Gloworks at all times. The renter has no ownership rights.
